The plant has a performance of 12MW with good emission values, it was commissioned in early 2022 on schedule and within budget. The project was carried out with the sawmill in full operation with a high focus on logistics and safety (no accidents).

AKJ Energiteknik was the turnkey contractor for the entire project, which included ground and foundation work, concrete and construction work for a new boiler house and fuel storage, fuel conveyors, incinerator, boiler, flue gas cleaning with electric filters, mechanical, control and electrical installations and heat distribution system for 28MW.

The combustion equipment is designed with AKJ's moving grate combustion system for moist sawmill fuels and has been optimized to maximize operational availability and minimize emissions.
