About the company
AKJ Energiteknik is active in the district heating and power energy industry. We help our customers with projects when there is an energy need or conversion to green energy of new plants or upgrades / remodeling / service of existing plants. We have a large range of fossil-free biofuels and are constantly working on new green energy sources to help society with the fossil transition.

Our customers are located all over Sweden and the Nordic region. The customers are largely in district heating, the sawmill industry, the food industry and in our projects, power energy is becoming increasingly common.

AKJ Energiteknik AB was founded in 1959 and still serves energy plants from the original customers but builds 10-20 new plants for existing and new customers every year, which constantly expands AKJ's customer base. When the customer needs to convert their energy production from fossil fuels to green energy, AKJ Energiteknik is their partner.

AKJ can, if the customer wishes, handle the entire design within all departments of a plant and with a broad responsibility, the entire design is handled by AKJ's own team. About the position
In the role of Energy Engineer at AKJ Energiteknik, you are involved in a project from start to finish with a close collaboration both with the Project Manager and the internal project team.

Energy engineers at AKJ Energiteknik work with project planning where you ensure that administration and documentation are correct. You will manage subcontractors and ensure that schedules are followed. You will also work with calculations, procurement, purchasing and health and safety. There are trips to check deliveries at suppliers and at important stages of the installation you also visit the installation site / customer.

To succeed in the role, we see that you are a driven person and always want to move forward. You enjoy leading and building relationships in a natural way. If you are attracted to taking on greater responsibility, there is the opportunity to grow into the role of project manager.

We see that you probably have a technical university education similar to Energy and Environmental Technology or an equivalent degree in the foundation and have 5 years of work experience in the engineering industry. You have an interest in managing processes and it is a plus if you have experience from work management in industrial projects. It is an advantage if you have knowledge in process calculation.
