JOB PURPOSE
As a Commissioning Engineer, you are responsible for commissioning our customers' plants. You have the main responsibility for both the commissioning planning and the commissioning phase itself – in short and simplified terms, your work starts shortly before the plant is mechanically completed and ends when it is tested and ready to be taken over by the customer. Your work will also include testing, sampling, trial operation, analysis and tuning/fine tuning to ensure that the plant and its individual units meet performance and safety requirements. You will also provide practical and theoretical training to the customer's staff prior to start-up/handover.

As a Commissioning Engineer, you have no direct personnel responsibility, but during the commissioning phase you lead and coordinate both internal and external resources in the form of designers, process engineers, automation engineers and suppliers. You work closely with our project managers.

AKJ has its head office in Karlstad and offices in Kristianstad and Halmstad. In the role as an Operator, you can start from one of our offices or, by agreement, from home and as an Operator it means that you, in periods, spend a lot of time at our customers and at their facilities located in Sweden and Norway.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS & QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a minimum of 3 years of experience in operating plants in the biogas, process industry or energy sector or have worked as a boiler operator. You have a technical breadth and see yourself as a technical generalist. You have experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment, good equipment and component knowledge and experience working with control systems. You are solution-oriented and make things happen and have good teamwork skills and create well-being around you among colleagues and customers.

AKJ can, if the customer wishes, handle the entire design within all departments of a plant and with a broad responsibility, the entire design is handled by AKJ's own team.
