About the company
AKJ Energiteknik is active in the district heating and power energy industry. We help our customers with projects when there is an energy need or conversion to green energy of new plants or upgrades / remodeling / service of existing plants. We have a large range of fossil-free biofuels and are constantly working on new green energy sources to help society with the fossil transition.

Our customers are located all over Sweden and the Nordic region. The customers are largely in district heating, the sawmill industry, the food industry and in our projects, power energy is becoming increasingly common.

AKJ Energiteknik AB was founded in 1959 and still serves energy plants from the original customers but builds 10-20 new plants for existing and new customers every year, which constantly expands AKJ's customer base. When the customer needs to convert their energy production from fossil fuels to green energy, AKJ Energiteknik is their partner.

AKJ can, if the customer wishes, handle the entire design within all departments of a plant and with a broad responsibility, the entire design is handled by AKJ's own team. About the position
In the role of Process Engineer at AKJ Energiteknik, you will work with process-technical calculations, simulations, development of flow charts and lists. You will also develop technical specifications, functional and process descriptions for equipment and system solutions.

The role includes both technical and administrative tasks, you see the variety as a natural part of your daily work. To succeed in the role, we see that you have previous work experience as a Process Engineer for 2 years or more. You have a university degree in Environmental and Energy Engineering or equivalent Process Education or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Excel, knowledge of numbering systems according to KKS or SSG, and if you have previously worked with material selection, it is seen as an advantage.

You will work together in a team with other Process Engineers where you have the opportunity to both learn from experienced colleagues and share your experiences.

As a Process Engineer at AKJ Energiteknik, we see that you are a structured person who thrives with order and order around you, where you know where to keep track of information in flow charts and documents. Problem solving is something that comes naturally and you drive your work forward.

You have an aptitude for building good relationships with customers, employees and colleagues and are interested in building contacts both internally and externally. You like to take responsibility for your work and can do it independently, but you also like to work with different competences and people where everyone has the same goal and where you have to find the right way to reach the goal together.
